The following endorsements, listed below, plus others found on my profile at LinkedIN:
Steve Nelson, Executive Director, (SQPN.com, January 2012): I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Pat Gohn for the past several years. She supports the work of the Star Quest Production Network (SQPN) by lending her many talents to show production, fund raising, promotion and organization. In recognition of the skills she brings to our organization, Pat was appointed to the SQPN Board of Directors in January, 2012.
Pat Gohn produces the “Among Women” podcast, a featured program on SQPN, and the show is a great asset to the network, produced consistently and with high quality. Each episode of the show exhibits the talent and professionalism that Pat puts into all her endeavors. I got to know Pat by working closely with her on the 2010 and 2011 “Catholic New Media Celebrations.” The CNMC is an international conference, held each year, to inform and build community among those using new forms of media in the Roman Catholic Church. Pat’s talent as a speaker was evident in the two talks she gave at the CNMC 2011. Pat was the conference coordinator at CNMC 2010 in Boston. Her logistical leadership and foresight skills have been an asset to our most recent conference teams.
Leticia Velasquez, (Catholic Media Review, July 2010): If you want to know what type of apostolate Pope Benedict had in mind when he established the Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization, you should begin your search at the Among Women Podcast. Pat Gohn, the host and producer, uses her knowledge of theology to spread the Gospel through practical meditations for the everyday woman and insightful interviews with the women who are spreading the good news of salvation through their lives and apostolates. Her warm, chatty style is engaging and the range of her contacts is impressive. Pat is at the epicenter of the New Evangelization and Among Women has become the standard against which new podcasts are measured. I give it my highest recommendation.
Deacon Tom Fox, (CatholicVitamins.com, and DeaconTomOnline.com, August 2009.): Pat Gohn is and has been a consummate professional to work with. She really ‘listens’ to what you want to accomplish. She takes ‘raw’ ideas and translates them into a finished product. She works well with schedules and deadlines — and her voice-over and script work are absolutely the best. I happily and highly recommend Pat for your next project.
Karina Fabian, President (Catholic Writers Guild, August 2009.): Pat Gohn recorded most of the presentations at the Catholic Writers Guild Conference Live Aug 5-7, 2009. This was a last-minute request, as we were asked by EWTN to provide recordings they could air. Pat did an excellent job, adapting to changes in the recording environment, from different rooms to panels to speaker preferences. She worked with the hotel staff/sound crew to make sure her equipment got optimal sound, and took time to make sure things were reset for other activities being held in the room after our presentations. She was unobtrusive and made the speakers (some of whom had never been recorded before) feel at ease.
Her attitude was never less than enthusiastic, cordial and “can do.” She even had all the recordings cleaned up and ready to deliver before the conference ended! The recordings sounded wonderful — something we can present to EWTN and sell with pride.
Mary Ann Harold, President (Eternal Life Radio, April 2009.): Eternal Life Radio was blessed to have Pat Gohn of Behold Communications create and execute wonderful radio spots promoting the Boston Catholic Mens and Womens Conferences in 2009. Pat produced these spots under a time deadline, and put forth her best effort to the delight of all who got to listen. We recommend Pat Gohn as a woman of great talent, dedication and integrity.
Scot Landry, (Boston Catholic Conferences, Inc. 2009): Pat’s radio ads for the 2009 Boston Catholic Mens and Womens Conferences were awesome. They immediately caught listeners attention and then in a natural way provided a clear case to attend the conferences. They were professionally written and recorded by Pat. We are most grateful for all her help and recommend her without reservation to other organizations.
Mary Kochan, Senior Editor, (Catholic Exchange, December 2008.): When it comes to writing articles that are beautiful and moving as well as instructive, Pat Gohn excels. Her attention to the details of daily life gives her writing vivid vitality, while meditation and prayer reveal the transcendent truths that lie hidden in ordinary moments. Pat draws upon a well-spring of Scripture knowledge but with such transparency and honesty that she never talks down to her readers…
It is no wonder that her articles have always been warmly received by Catholic Exchange readers, or that I would gladly recommend her as a writer.
Lisa M. Hendey, Founder and Editor (CatholicMom.com, May 2008.): I have had the pleasure of working with Pat Gohn for the past several years in her role as a contributing columnist for my website, www.CatholicMom.com.Pat is one of the finest writers I know. Her talent lies both in the construction of her thoughts and in the inspirational nature of her work. Her writing continually edifies and informs me and our readers. She is timely and professional in her communication. I am pleased to strongly recommend Pat Gohn.
Heidi Hess Saxton, Editor (Canticle Magazine, May 2008.): Pat is one of a handful of writing professionals that I trust with the most challenging assignments, those requiring extensive research and thoughtful analysis. Now that she has her Masters Degree in Theology, she has both the credentials and the natural gifting to communicate the Catholic faith with creativity and integrity. Highly recommended.
